Strengthened by a production department equipped with stations for laser cutting, folding, punching/shearing, assembly, and finishing, Cameltech is able to manage commissions of various sizes.
Laser cutting
Our laser cutting centre, which is flexible and efficient, allows us to produce sheet metal parts of any shape, with perfectly smooth perimeter cutting and greatly reduced dimensional tolerances, both in sales and in toll manufacturing.
For processing, we have two Mazak MK II cutting units: 2500 and 4000 Watt of power respectively – with a maximum usable surface of 1500×3000 mm, an 8000 Watt Mazak laser fibre cutting unit with a maximum surface of 2000×4000 mm, for 30 mm thicknesses of carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, powered by a flexible automated system, with automatic storage, which enables 24-hour processing with a continuous cycle without monitoring
Punching / shearing
The Finn-Power CNC mod. SG6 punching/shearing centre – with capacity up to 1000 hits per minute, for thicknesses up to 4 mm and totally automated working cycles – has a working range of 3000 x 1500 mm.
The defining features of this system are:
- The combination of punching and shearing, which enables the production of manufactured products that are perfectly cut on the perimeter and, thus, are free of any indents, which are characteristic of conventional punching machines
- The totally automated, Night-Train pairing with the raw material warehouse, thanks to which several productions can be carried out in sequence with the maximum optimisation of times and without human intervention.
Folding
After punching or laser cutting, the manufactured articles are subjected to press-bending to be shaped as indicated by the drawings.
Our dedicated department uses CNC hydraulic/hybrid folding machines from 25 to 250 tonnes with a working range from 1000 to 4000 mm, an Olma panel bender with a working range from 250 to 2100 mm (max. fold height 300 mm) and a robotic folding cell with a working range up to 2000 mm.
Assembly and Finishing
The assembly and finishing department makes it possible to provide the requested product in its final form.
If the order requires it, the pieces obtained are assembled, with any addition of semi-processed parts, via DC TIG/MIG electrode welding on all materials that can be structurally joined with iron, non-iron, and austenitic alloys.
The welding department is equipped with a MIG/MAG/TIG Fronius robot system with double-station Kawasaki robots with automatic gearbox, rotating table, and the ability to combine two welding types.
The hot zinc, electrolyte zinc, nickel plating, painting, electro polishing, and Teflon-coating surface treatments are entrusted to qualified suppliers and are continuously monitored.
